The Clippers have this last chance to prove that they’re able to win against the Mavericks. One more win for the Mavericks, and they’re in the vantage point. This puts most of the pressure on the clippers. They’ll have to come with their best. With just three games left to play in the playoffs, both teams would need to produce an exciting match tomorrow.
I’ll try to compare and contrast their stats to see which team is in a better position to win in their game tomorrow. We’ll take a close look at their head to head stats, their previous games, and what the outcomes were. We should be able to see which team is more favored to win and which isn’t. We’ll also predict what the result could be. Just tag along.
Head to Head
At the beginning of the playoffs, it did look like the Dallas Mavericks had met their match. The toughness of the first two games made so many people conclude that the 6th games could end in a 3 – 3, where we’d have to wait for the last match to decide who wins in the aggregates.
The Mavericks have indeed shown that they’re not the side to toy with and looking at their records against those of the clippers, I’m pretty sure we can all agree. Both teams have played a total of 161 games and the Dallas Mavericks are leading the charts with a total of 95 wins. The Los Angeles Clippers have won only 66.
The Clippers actually had a reputation for beating the Mavericks whenever they were placed together. It sure seems like all that is taking another turn in these playoffs.
Previous Games Records
This season has been quite favorable to the Dallas Mavericks and the playoffs are proving so. The Mavericks have maintained a good record since the start of the season and they’re still carrying on the legacy.
They have lost some games which we can all agree are actually normal but their winnings have been altogether higher than their losses. As a matter of fact, they’ve been able to record up to a 6-match winning streak and have not had more than a 2-match losing streak.
They’re currently on another 3-match winning streak and if they’re able to win this match, they’d just be piling up the misery for the Clippers.
The Clippers have done a little better than the Mavericks this season, even though they’re actually behind in terms of overall records. They’ve won some really tough games with good margins and pretty long winning streaks.
They’ve been able to record up to a 7-game winning streak and their highest losing streak is just 3. If given a chance, they could come back to win in these playoffs. The Mavericks would need to be sharp at all times.
We’ll let the odds be at 1.8 for the Mavericks to win and 2.5 for the Clippers.
May the better side win it.
